Cross Reference Directory Now!

Posted on: August 1st, 2008

Not a lot of people know that a service exists that is called cell phone number lookup. You can trace cell phone numbers and get home phone numbers as well. The information that can be obtained by cell phone number lookup directories can include information that is tied to that number. You may find: the user’s name, address, and phone carrier. You can even choose to get the extra information databases that can search for criminal records, divorce records, and any other public records.

Lots of different kinds of reverse cell phone number services exist online. You might be able to get them for free, particularly if you’re looking up a land line number. Otherwise, you might have to pay for the service, especially if you want to use the cell phone number lookup feature. Before you pick a service provider, though, you’ll want to understand the distinction between the two different kinds of services that are on offer here.

Cell numbers are fundamentally not stored in free reverse phone number lookup directories. A lot of the house phone numbers are stored in these reverse phone number lookup directories. That is the main reason why a reverse cell phone directory which is free put forward very narrow services. That is one of the reasons why there are only a few cell phone directories which offer their services free of cost. Even if they are there, they are most likely to be a scam and they may provide you details that you do not require.

If you look at a free reverse cell phone directory, you’ll only find the location of the cellular provider, without any further information. Searches that you don’t have to pay for aren’t likely to provide extensive regional coverage, and they probably also won’t supply you with data like names or addresses.

On the contrary, reverse cell phone number lookup services which are paid have different charges which depend on the company you choose. Besides having different charges, they may also have different types of services. It is advisable that you explore the many services that are available and you can make a comparison against each other and you can decide which one is best for you. Criss cross reference phone directory also helps you in this. It is furthermore desirable that you read the different reviews regarding the company or some of the testimonials which are made by satisfied customers as well as unsatisfied customers. This way you can trace a person name by cell phone number.

You must know: If you want swift and reliable phone number search results, go for the paid Criss cross reference services that provide directories for cell phone numbers. Free Criss cross reference directories usually will only give you landline numbers, not mobile phone numbers. You must understand that mobile phone numbers have to be collated manually-which costs the companies a lot in order to provide the service. Another good thing with going for the paid reverse cell phone number lookup services is that the whole process of signing up with them is simple and the search is effortless. All you need to do is to enter the number you are searching for, the area code and 7 digit number and the service will run through its database and return your matched results.

“Life With Woody” 10 inspirational quotes than can improve yourself

It might take a little coffee or probably a few rounds of beer or any other booze you could get your hands on when it comes to relaxing after a hard day’s work. Well, yeah I’m guilty about that one as well, unless I’m caught dead wearing a lampshade over my head after a few rounds of vodka… half-naked! Okay, bad example and I apologize to everyone reading this after getting nightmares about me in that state of drunken stupor.
Just don’t ask how it happened, please.

But what’s really interesting is that how do people go through the usual part of life when faced with vein-popping stress? I mean, the new age thing like Zen or yoga is one of the good things and it actually works. Is there room for the intellectual side of people who can actually smell the roses-in-a-can while on the move? It kind of had me thinking that there really must be something in this ‘mind-over-matter’ thing.

Humor is indeed the best medicine there is whenever you are. I mean anyone can pay good money to listen to a comedian just to make you wet your pants after laughing so hard. Despite of what’s been happening, and to those who has gone though the ordeal, it’s better to just laugh while facing the troubles with a clear mind than anger with a clouded vision. One of my favorite celebrities of all time may have to be Woody Allen. Now this is one guy who gives you the in-your-face bluntness that he pulls out with gusto, even without even trying. You can talk just about anything with a man, and he’s bound to mock the subject and you’ll end up laughing rather than being upset about it.

Woody Allen has this to say:

1. “Money is better than poverty, if only for financial reasons.” It sounds good to me, I mean the practicality of all things does involve money but it doesn’t have to take an arm and a leg to get it.

2. “I believe there is something out there watching us. Unfortunately, it’s the government.” ‘Nuff said.

3. “There are worse things in life than death. Have you ever spent an evening with an insurance salesman?” This happens to be one of the classic ones. I mean the issue about life’s little problems isn’t all that bad, until ‘he’ shows up. And there’s always organized living world.

Sure, relationships can get complicated, or does have its complications that probably any author about relationships is bound to discover it soon. We follow what our heart desires, unless you’re talking about the heart as in the heart that pump blood throughout your body. Have you thought about self control.

4. “Love is the answer, but while you’re waiting for the answer, sex raises some pretty interesting questions.” And if you want more, just keep on asking!

5. “A fast word about oral contraception. I asked a girl to go to bed with me, she said ‘no’.” It sounds, ‘practical’, I think.

And when it comes to everyday life, he really knows how to make the best out of every possible scenario, and it doesn’t involve a lawsuit if he strikes a nerve. Find out about mind control.

6. “Basically my wife was immature. I’d be at home in the bath and she’d come in and sink my boats.” I never had a boat in my bathtub before. Just staring at it while soaking in hot water makes me seasick already.

7. “I am not afraid of death, I just don’t want to be there when it happens.” If it rains, it pours.

8. “I am thankful for laughter, except when milk comes out of my nose.” It could get worse when you’re guzzling on beer… or mouthwash, and it happened to me once! Great for career development?

9. “If you want to make God laugh, tell him about your plans.” At least he doesn’t smite us with lightning, and I’m thankful for that.

And despite of what may happen to all of us in the next ten, twenty, or even thirty years, I guess we all have to see things in a different kind of light and not just perspective. I can’t seem to imagine life without any piece of wisdom that could guide us. Whether we’re religious or not, it takes more courage to accept your fears and learn how to deal with them is all that matters when it comes to even just getting along.

And to sum things up, here is the last nugget of wisdom to go by… however, whenever, and wherever we may be. Read about career opportunities.

10. “The talent for being happy is appreciating and liking what you have, instead of what you don’t have.”

Ciao! Visit us at organized living.

Just utter the words that you are interested in starting a business, and you will be showered with advices from everywhere. Even people, who have never dreamed of becoming entrepreneurs themselves, will turn into management gurus! Some will be encouraging whereas some can become quite negative. You will be getting lots of advices from all corners. If you are confused about which ones to follow, here are some pointers for you.

The first person whose advice you should seriously consider is your own self. Be very sure about your dreams, aspirations and limitations. You must know what you like and how much you can work in order to achieve your goal. Then start asking those people who you think know you the best. Ask them to give an unbiased criticism of your idea. You can also talk to people who have achieved the “Great American Dream” of owning a successful business.

You will be surprised by the range of the answers you will get. Here are some of them:

Good Advice: Believe in your dreams and ability: People who will see your inner resource will always encourage you to go out and try your luck. But they will also point out the problems ahead as well as your drawbacks.

Bad Advice# Don’t take risks: Many people will try to dissuade you by saying that business is a risky thing and you should not disturb your present life by taking such challenges. But remember that nothing was achieved without risking something, so stay clear of such naysayer.

Good Advice# Look for various avenues while finding finance: Any experienced businessman will tell you that they have got financial backing from unexpected quarters.

Bad Advice# If you fail to find financier, drop the matter: If you listen to such advices, it means that you are still hesitating on whether to be a businessman or not. If you become depressed because one door has closed, then you will never make it big in the business world.

Good Advice# Build network among different groups in your field: In the world of business, you cannot always make it on your own. So, join the groups you think are pertinent to your business and spread the business-card around.

Bad Advice# Fight it out alone, nobody will help you: The persons who give you this kind of advice are cynics who only see the glass half-empty. True, you have to work quite hard for your success, but people always help a hard-working, honest businessman.

Good Advice# Remain true to your core value and expand slowly: Honesty and integrity is essential for being a successful businessman. Never compromise on the quality of your product/service and take each step slowly but steadily.

Bad Advice# Expand as fast as you can and when dire time comes compromise on your quality: Nothing can kill a business like this piece of advice. If you expand just for the heck of it without proper planning and infrastructure, you will collapse like a house of cards. And compromising on the quality of the products/services means that you will lose your core customers and future business possibilities!

This is a summary of a great article I found at http://resumes-samples.net. The whole article and many more you can find on that website.

There are many resumes samples that you’ll find in books, magazines and online. Most employers can tell the best resumes at a glance. 1. Don’t Lie. If you do get the job and the company finds out later that you lied on your resume you could be fired.

Don’t keep irrelevant information on your resume. Don’t make the reader have to hunt through your resume to find the important information.

Paragraphs are for essays and stories. Instead, keep your resume easy to read at a glance. Use bullet points to further showcase your information.

Don’t put too much information in your resume. Remove some of the dead weight on your resume to make room for the information the counts.

If you highlight it you are asking to do that part of the job again.
Try your best to get your resume down to one page. Your resume should be short and concise.
But – don’t cram it into one page using the smallest font on earth.

Don’t have any spelling or grammatical errors on your resume. Check it once, check it again and then have someone else check it. One spelling error will land your resume in the “no” pile.

Don’t use different font or crazy headings in your resume. Choose a format and stick to it throughout your resume. Most people prefer New Times Roman or Arial.

You are not making the resume as a tell-all book so don’t put negative things on your resume. 10. Don’t use one resume for every job opening. Instead you should custom tailor your resume to highlight the things that work best for the employer.

This article is written by John Tailor. If you need tips on how to write resume just visit the site I mentioned above. Thanks for reading.

You wouldn’t think it to look at any of the nation’s highways but there’s a severe shortage of truck drivers out there in the job market. With most transportation companies having to park many of their trucks up against the fence because they have no one to drive them, the industry is in a real bind. With an ever increasing number of experienced drivers leaving the industry due to retirement, job transfers or outright wage dissatisfaction, the industry is always scrambling to get more drivers behind the wheel and out onto the road. The amount of time that some drivers need to spend away from their families is another reason that many experienced drivers choose to leave the industry. Because of the reality of economic growth in this country, the need for long haul drivers is expected to continue to grow at a high rate for many years to come. The rate of driver turn-over in the industry is currently at 35% and is one of the highest rates of employee turn-over in any industry in the nation. For continued economic growth, most transport companies realize that this rate must be brought back under control.

A method being looked at to help the trucking industry recruit new drivers is to hire foreign workers who wish to get a lucrative jobs in the United States. By making the truck driver classification a more high priority career in the immigration point system, trucking industry officials are trying to ensure that foreign truck drivers are given the fast-track into this country due to the severe demand for their trade. Officials are also trying to make sure that the higher-valued long-haul truck drivers are given even more priority when they apply to the immigration office for work in this country. In this way, trucking industry officials hope to prevent any further decline in the number of available truck driving careers in the industry. At the present time, a student can become a qualified truck driver in anywhere from 2 to 12 weeks.

Three quarters of all the goods in North America are transported by truck and with the growing cost of fuel and shortage of drivers, prices are rising on nearly everything we buy. Many trucking companies have started offering signing bonuses and special 401K plans to qualified truck drivers willing to drive for them. The average starting salary for short haul (local and regional) truck drivers is $37,500, with salaries of up to $51,000 being paid out to long haul drivers. Truck drivers lucky enough to start out in a trucking union position can expect to make an average salary of $64,000 or more. As can be expected with a volatile industry such as the trucking industry, the recent high cost of diesel fuel and a slow-to-react economy, has caused some trucking companies to actually find it necessary to start cutting back on the number of drivers they have on the road. This shouldn’t deter anyone wanting to make a career in the trucking industry, however, as the market for new drivers is one that will always bounce back, looking to hire as many new and qualified drivers as possible and potential truck maintenance worker to keep the trucks on the road. It takes far shorter a time to complete your commercial driver training and earn your license than it takes to complete a conventional degree from any community college or university. Because of this, you can begin your career in the trucking industry as a qualified driver in a much shorter time and at a greatly reduced cost than with any other career training. Once you’re trained as a truck driver, you can pretty much have your pick of where you’d like to work.

California Jobs Quest

Posted on: July 28th, 2008

So you finally got sick of grey skies 7 months a year and decided to move to California, or Cal, as some of us locals call it. Good for you! I did the same thing 4 years ago. It’s great out here in California. From many places, the beach and the mountains are both an hour away, the weather is great year-round (except for the June gloom, when its overcast every day except for 11 AM to 2 PM)- and it’s just generally a very nice place to live, in my experience. However, there are some specific things about the California job market that you’ll need to know if you want to transition successfully and get your california jobs career off on the right foot.

Leading off is one of everyone’s favorite topic- payroll taxes! In California, employers are only allowed to deduct the taxes required by law. They cannot charge you for having your picture taken or for uniforms; they cannot deduct your gratuities, business expenses, or the costs of any required medical examinations. “Breakage” is also a cost that the employer must absorb and may not be deducted from your paycheck.

Now, let’s talk holidays. This may surprise you, but there is no provision in the law that says an employer has to pay extra for you to work on a Saturday, a Sunday, or a Federal holiday, so bear that in mind when you interview- ask your potential employers what their paid Holiday policy is (or isn’t).

Minimum wage in California is higher than you may be accustomed to in your current location- $8 an hour! There are some special provisions for sheepherders, but they probably won’t apply since 99.9% of people that read this that aren’t sheepherders, so we’ll gloss over those. California law says that in cases where state and federal law conflict regarding minimum wage, the case is decided in favor of the employee- meaning that $8 an hour is the true minimum wage for any job in California. This includes tipped employees- if you are used to making $2.31 an hour to wait tables, cal jobs search in restaurants may be a big step up.

California also has some pretty specific rules about pay. Employees have to be paid by the 26th of the month for all days worked between the 1st and 16th of that month, and by the 10th day of the next month for hours worked from the 16th through month end. Also, all wages due to the employee must be paid to the employee on their last day of work, provided that the employee gives 72 hours of notice.

California is an “at-will employment” state, as well; this means that employees are free to quit their jobs without cause and that employers are free to terminate their employees without cause. However, laws regarding discrimination still apply- you can’t be let go on a discriminatory criteria as defined by the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA). These include: employment discrimination based on race or color; religion; national origin or ancestry, physical disability; mental disability or medical condition; marital status; sex or sexual orientation; age, with respect to persons over the age of 40; and pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions.
Keep these things in mind when starting your california job search and you will be able to anticipate how it may be different than what you’re used to.

Do you look wistfully at your friends who left their jobs and succeeded as franchisees? Do you dream of following them? But does an uncertain future make you stick to your old and boring job? Then, this is the article for you. Listed are some of the fears that hold us back. Going through this article, you will also come to know how to overcome them!
• It’s a silly thought: All great thoughts, when they were born looked silly. But the difference of dreaming and believing in them lies in your conviction in your capabilities. If you believe that you can do well as a franchisee, then start writing down the reasons for it. The more practical they sound; the more determined you can become to follow your dreams.
• I don’t know anything about the field: You may passionately like a product/concept, but the fear of getting lost in the wilderness makes you stop. But, getting information is not difficult now. Just surf the net; it is full of information on the franchising world. See franchise consultation websites like brandEXPANSION to learn about the inside of the industry as well as the current trends. You also get to know about the various players in your chosen field. Research thoroughly about them and soon, you will come to know everything that you want to know.
• I don’t have the money to start a franchise: It’s true that many franchising businesses need lots of money to start, but equally true is the fact that there are franchises with very low start-up costs. Just go through your financial condition, your assets and liabilities and find out how much you can actually invest. There are franchising businesses available for as low as $25,000 or even less! You can also arrange for loans, if you are sincere about it. Many franchisors themselves will guide you to your entrepreneurial goal.
• How will I pay for the daily needs if I leave the job? This is one of the most important reasons that make people give up their dreams. But, if you plan well and cut your coat according to your cloth, this fear will definitely fade away! If you are a couple and both of you are earning or are capable of earning, that solves the problem to a certain extent. Otherwise, what you can do is keeping a manager to oversee the business while you still continue with the job. You can even do a part-time job to supplement the earnings.
• Will I manage on my own? If you can manage your work independently, then chances are that you can manage a business on your own. But, you will need to work on time-management, communication skills and grow the habit of asking for help (which most of us hate to do).
• The companies won’t take novices like me: That is a very wrong notion about the franchising industry. No other business welcomes first-timers like franchising does. They are easy to train and willing to learn and hence, preferred by franchisors.
• I will put my children and my future into uncertainty: To overcome this fear, always put aside some money for your future requirements and never touch the children trust fund.
So, take a little risk while carefully planning your steps. Soon, you will see your dreams coming true! To know more, make contact with the brandEXPANSION associates.

Do you get up every morning dreading the whole day? Do you hate to go to your 9-to-5 job and are envious of those who left them and succeeded in life? Do you also want to be like them, but keep postponing your decision thinking this is not the right time? Then the first thing that you are supposed to know is that there is no perfect time to leave your job and start on your own. You may spend your whole career and still not find the time to call it quits whereas someone else may require only six months in a job to know that this is not his true calling. Here are some questions that those successful entrepreneurs asked themselves before calling it a day in their old careers.

• Why am I unsatisfied in the present job? Everybody hates their jobs at one point of time, but not everyone quits them. What you have to see is the reason behind your dissatisfaction. Is it because you are disgusted about the restrictions? Then you won’t do well in franchising business too, because it also has certain restrictions. Is it because you can’t take the stress of handling people? Then remember, every business sells something and hence, having people skill will be essential. Are you feeling bogged down by the amount of work? But, business will demand more time and energy! Is it because the company can’t accommodate your ambition? Now, that is a good reason to leave, because burning ambition and a zeal for success is vital to succeed as an entrepreneur. Most successful entrepreneurs were not grumbled employees, but very bright and hard-working ones!

• What is my financial situation? The second most important question, which will decide when to start on your own. What you are required to see is that whether you have good amount of savings in your bank. In addition, there should not be any debt in your name. You should also be up-to-date with your taxes and have your partner/spouse as a support element. Be ready to compromise on your lifestyle too. Look around to get an estimate on how much your planned project is going to cost you and where you can get a loan. Always consult a trusted financial advisor who can guide you effectively in this field.

• Do I have my spouse/wife’s support? When you have a family, your decision to quit your job concerns them as well. So, discuss with your partner thoroughly before taking the plunge. They must be supportive of your decision. Above all, you need to have confidence in your own choice and capability before showing them your future plans.

• How close am I to retirement? If there is only couple of years left for your retirement, see if you can hang on for a couple of years. These days, retiring from corporate America doesn’t mean rocking chairs and playing horseshoes. Many retirees are using their solid financial base to finally launch their own business.

So you see there is no fixed formula to say that now is the time to get out of your job and script your success story in the franchising business. Have self-reliance and believe in your dreams. The perfect situation will surely present itself!

So, to all you business owners out there and those who are on the path to opening your own venture, tell us: How did you know it was time to go out on your own?
