The history of top Christmas toys is a long and storied one. That’s neither here nor there. Popularity of toys certainly has nothing to do with Christmas alignment. Many of the toys from the past have been quite expensive. Few toys have done better than these. You can’t argue that these are the top Christmas toys of this year and years past.

Created in Southern California, Bratz dolls are immensely popular and are top Christmas toys. The facial features of the dolls are incredibly distinct. Apparently, the Bratz film will be coming into theaters shortly. The creator of Bratz lost $100 million in a lawsuit to Mattel. Even though kids love Bratz, there’s no substitute for Barbies. Barbie dolls have taken a significant hit since the creation of Bratz. Bratz dolls appeal more to the lifestyles, behavior patterns, and fashion and dress style patterns of children than Barbie dolls do. Barbie’s golden years may be behind it. Bratz makes the majority of its sales around Christmastime. There’s no doubt that the Bratz dolls are a bit rougher around the edges than Barbies are. However, Barbies are still quite popular - Barbie & The Diamond Castle Princess Liana Doll is a toy everyone is talking about this season.

There’s no doubt that Barbies will always be top Christmas toys. Ruth Handler created Barbie dolls, and they were marketed and mass-manufactured in 1959 by Mattel, Inc. After the inception, the dolls became enormously popular. Barbie has branched out into every realm imaginable. Barbie dolls are meant to show that women can take on any role in the workplace like being an airline pilot, flight attendant, doctor, nurse, or even a fully-fledged Nascar race car driver. Barbie is so named because the inventor’s daughter’s name was Barbara. Handler also gave her daughter the first doll ever made. How awesome for her!

There’s no doubt that GI Joe must be placed in the ranks of the top Christmas toys for boys that has ever existed. There are four types of G.I. Joes – one for the air force, navy, army, and marines. The phrase action figure actually was created to refer to GI Joes. Before the design was modified, GI Joes stood at towering foot tall. Over time, the vehicles and accessories were added. The older model being phased out, GI Joe came into the form in which we know it now. As kids would get tired with just one permutation, there have been many as time has gone on. It would be hard to deny that the Joes are some of the top Christmas toys. G.I. Joe originally launched with a World War II theme.

The list of top Christmas toys is definitely a stellar one.
